Local artists and photographers are invited to submit work that celebrates the spirit, beauty, and culture of Sacramento for display in the Jacquelyn Gallery Annex at The Sofia in Midtown Sacramento.
The B Street Theatre Family Series holiday show, Tis the Season: Hometown Holidays, is all about Sacramento — so we want our gallery to shine with hometown pride too!
Artists keep 100% of profit on all sales during the exhibition.

Sacramento Hometown Holidays—Celebrating Sacramento
Presented in partnership with The Sofia in Midtown Sacramento, home of The B Street Theatre.

The winter months bring nostalgic feelings for traditions and favorite places. Sacramento has a rich community, iconic locations, anticipated events and Holiday traditions that inspire the theme of this year’s B Street Tis the Season holiday production. Artists are encouraged to visit the Sofia website at https://bstreettheatre.org/family/tis-the-season-hometown-holidays/ for more information about the holiday productions and the B Street Theatre company.
Eligibility • Open to artists of all ages working in hanging media, including but not limited to painting, photography, textiles and mixed media applications.
Application Requirements
Submission Guidelines
• Number of Works: Maximum of 5 pieces per artist.
• File Format: JPEG or PNG of no less than 75ppi
• Statement: 250-word maximum artist statement describing their work
Artists are welcome to submit existing work that fits with the theme of Celebrating Sacramento.
Submissions will undergo a curatorial review of adherence to theme, available space, and variety of subjects to determine the selections that will be accepted for the exhibit. Inclusion in the exhibit is not guaranteed for all submissions.
Important Dates • Application Deadline: Nov. 10, 2025 • Notifications Sent: Nov. 13
• Accepted Artwork Delivery: Nov. 15-16, 2700 Capitol Ave, Sacramento, California 95816. Drop off times scheduled at submission acceptance.
